This trim is shaved to the skin on the body of the cat. Hair is left around the head/ruff, end of the tail (pom pom), and the feet/boots. 

Lion Cut Variation 1 - Starting at $100 (includes Full Coat Groom)

This trim is just like the Traditional Lion Cut, except all or a larger portion of fur is left on the tail.

Lion Cut Variation 2 - Starting at $100 (includes Full Coat Groom)

This variation of the Lion Cut is just like the traditional, except it leaves a jacket on the front half of the cat and all or a larger portion of fur is left on the tail.

The Panther Cut - Starting at $100 (includes Full Coat Groom)

This version of the Lion Cut, also called the "Panther Cut" is a little more extreme, shaving off a larger area of fur, only leaving fur on the head and legs (and sometimes the end of the tail). This is the preferred cut for cats with severe matting, especially if matting occurs around the neck.
NOTE: Price varies based on breed, coat type and temperment.  If the grooming takes additional time beyond the first hour there will be an additional $25 charge for each hour.  Estimations will be given upon check in.

NOTE: If a cat has severe matting on the body, the only option may be to do a Lion Cut. This is the safest and least uncomfortable method of matt removal for cats.  If matting/pelt is in too severe of condition, additional charges will apply.  Please talk to us about the options available for your particular cat based on its coat condition. Depending on the cat and how much he/she is outdoors, this cut may be more appropriate for warmer months.
